Facebook: How to Turn Off Notification from Apps

Bothered receiving notification from apps  and games requests, everyday as you log in in your Facebook account.. there's nothing but games request..? here's how to stop it...

- click the notification globe...and choose the notification with games request or apps...then check for the 'x' on the top right corner of the notification,,then you will see a turn off bubble..or tag
